What is simulation?
When a company decides to manufacture a product or set a process in factory line, they use simulation.
In easy word, the simulation is a process (mostly software or a method) that can show you the result of the product or process with given calculations before use materials and investments to prevent loss of funds and time if anything goes wrong.
There are many different methods that can help for simulate product or process or any application. It could be different depends on purpose.
We use different simulation methods depend on application (FEM , Kinematic , Injection flow and temperature ...) with different software.
FEM Simulation: The finite element method (FEM) is the most widely used method for solving problems of engineering and mathematical models. Typical problem areas of interest include the traditional fields of structural analysis, heat transfer, fluid flow, mass transport, and electromagnetic potential
Kinematic: Kinematics is a simulation showing where all of the parts in an assembly are in time as it goes through a cycle. This technology is useful for simulating steady-state motion (with no accelerations) as well as in evaluating motions for interference purposes.
Flow injection simulation: (FIA) is an approach to chemical analysis. It is accomplished by injecting a plug of sample into a flowing carrier stream. The principle is similar to that of Segmented Flow Analysis (SFA) but no air is injected into the sample or reagent streams. FIA is an automated method of chemical analysis in which a sample is injected into a flowing carrier solution that mixes with reagents before reaching a detector
Temperature simulation: Temperature simulation is often used in your calibrating thermometers for process measurement and control. Instrument shops calibrate industrial instruments with a simulator. Simulators produce an electronic signal that duplicates the correct signal made by a theoretically accurate thermocouple or RTD
Currently most of expert companies , design and simulate the tools or products before actual investments.
